The opening date of the new cableway is confirmed on the 1st of July 2023.
The idea of a connection between Italy and Switzerland is not new. As a matter of fact, the first project to link Zermatt and Cervinia dates back to 1939.
It took more than 80 years for this dream to become reality and starting from this summer, the lift will be finally functioning.
This new lift will allow all the mountain lovers to enjoy this premium experience at the estimated cost of € 240 for a round trip ticket.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the connection between the two countries will increase the tourists flow both ways and their curiosity to discover the alpine mountains in Winter and Summer.
